Whose Land?
In England we only have access to roam 8% of land. In the UK land ownership has always been political and deeply tied to class. Inspired by the long history of protest banners used by activists, we created sculptures spelling “whose land?”.
Made from mycelium, the letters slowly decompose, returning nutrients to the soil while prompting walkers to question land ownership and access.
